Hi, I’m Dara Lindsey, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Philadelphia, PA. I specialize in working with young adults, adults, and athletes who are navigating life transitions, managing anxiety or depression, struggling with self-esteem, or seeking support with drug and alcohol challenges. My approach to therapy is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based practices tailored to each client’s unique goals.
I earned my undergraduate degree from West Chester University and my master’s degree in counseling psychology from Temple University. Over the last five years, I’ve had the privilege of serving the drug and alcohol recovery community through my work at a nonprofit organization in Philadelphia. These experiences deeply shaped my commitment to helping people heal, grow, and build emotional resilience.
As a lifelong athlete, I understand firsthand the unique mental demands that come with sports—from performance pressure and perfectionism to identity struggles and burnout. My passion for mental health in athletics stems from both personal experience and professional training, and I love supporting athletes as they strengthen their mental resilience both on and off the field.
At Well & Good Counseling, I provide a safe and supportive space where clients can explore what’s getting in the way of their well-being. Whether you're dealing with stress, working through a major life change, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, I’m here to help you reconnect with your strengths and move forward with clarity and confidence.

I believe therapy is a space where meaningful change happens—and it starts with feeling seen, heard, and supported. My goal is to walk alongside you as you discover new ways to cope, connect, and thrive.
If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d be honored to support you on your journey.
